If you watch HBO's popular Game of Thrones show (based on the Song of Fire & Ice books by George RR Martin), then you're well aware of the fact that no character is safe. Someone you think of as a "main character" could easily be killed off at any time. This is part of what makes the show and books so great, as there's no way to predict what's going to happen.

With the new GoT season coming right around the corner, we felt that it would be the perfect time to take a look back at all of those we've lost.
