  1. Go to File > Download as > Web Page (HTML).
  2. Open the ZIP file that has been saved to your computer.
  3. Inside that ZIP file, you'll find a folder called Images, inside which you'll find all the images that were inserted into that Google document.

Now, simply move the image from your downloads folder to wherever you'd like to save it. It's that simple.

The easiest way to save images from a Word document is to save them as a Web page if the right-click doesn't work.

  1. Open the document and go to File > Save as.
  2. From the dropdown menu for File Format, select Web page (.htm).
  3. Navigate to where you saved your file, and double-click to open it. It will open in your default browser.
