Pleeq: Nice Photo Bookmarking Tool

You will find numerous web services that let you bookmark webpages. But what if you want to save image URLs? Surely bookmarking an entire webpage only for an image it contains would be inconvenient and result in cluttered bookmarks. To resolve this issue you can use a web service called Pleeq.

Pleeq is a free to use web service that helps you bookmark online images. You start using the site by creating an account and then clicking on the activation link that is emailed to you. Next you drag Pleeq’s bookmarklet onto your browser’s bookmarks toolbar. Now whenever you are on the webpage of an image you would like to bookmark, simply click on the Pleeq bookmarklet and then click on the image. The image’s original URL will be saved in your Pleeq account and you will be able to add tags to the image.


To view your “Pleeqed” images you can visit your dashboard any time.

    Of all the many, many, many bookmarking sites, gadgets and widgets out there, finally I think I may just have read about one that is useful and different.  I hope it works, and will definitely be trying it out.
