At first glance, PingTest might look like any other broadband speed test service out there. However, it isn't one of those. It doesn't check the speed of your connection. Instead it checks the overall quality of the connection that determines how well it can stream videos, play music and online games. You may call it broadband quality test tool.

When you click on "Begin test", it first selects a server from where it'll run the test. Then it runs various tests to check for packet loss, ping and jitter and rates your connection accordingly. You could also choose to select a different server and re-run the test.
