While our smartphones let us take detailed pictures, it is up to us take pictures in the best light. Failing that, we must use the best image filters available to enhance the visual appeal of our images before we can upload them online and share the images with friends. Most applications that offer you a range of such filters are accompanied by a price tag. But here to offer a free and competent alternative to those paid desktop apps is a browser app called Picadilo.
Picadilo is a free to use web application that helps you edit photos online. In addition to its online interface, the app offers a Google Chrome app that allows quick access to the app’s interface. When you visit the editor, its entire interface is loaded up into your browser, and the time taken to process images is less than any other online image editing application.
You begin by pointing to the local image you want to edit. From then on, you can use the helpful options in the left pane that offers basic edits such as resize, crop, flip, rotate, copy region, setting hue, setting contrast, adjusting color temperature, and adjusting exposure.
In addition to these edits you can access the Effects section that offers plenty of visually appealing image effects that include Mosaic, Miniature Effect, Thermal Camera, and many more.
If you have any flaws in your image such as blemishes and wrinkles that you want removed, you can remove them through Retouch menu.
Text and textures can also be added to your images. When you are done with the edits, you can save the image in the JPG or PNG file format.
