1. Get Recommendations From Friends

When you ask friends for suggestions for the best pizza in town, they will now be able to tag the actual restaurant’s Facebook page. These pages will show up in a map, with complete details about each restaurant.

Just switch on the new “Recommendations” option for any post, and people will be able to add their thoughts. To speed up the process, go to the Recommendations section on Facebook to ask for or dole out advice.

Soon, Facebook will also be rolling out the ability to book an appointment for a business directly through these recommendations, get a quote, or place a food order.

    If they're are suddenly not horrible, ditched all the ads, stopped experimenting on users, stopped letting people buy likes, then I might listen.

    What excites me the most? How about doing something exciting?

    I HATE that on my androids it automatically refreshes back to top of my page to see the new entries. When. I click into a story, after reading it I want to go back to it on my page to share, save, or continue on from where I was. This new system is frustrating and absurd. I just shut it down now after it happens enough times to aggrevate me. I now spend much less time on FB.

    I keep checking to see if they do anything with the Interests Lists feature on Android. I'd like to use it make custom lists of news sources.
