Since list management went digital, there have been an untold number of software solutions for keeping track of daily tasks and reminders, that you’d be forgiven for not knowing where to start. One freebie you might want to try out is List Lite for Mac, a small and attractive list management app that lives in the toolbar at the top of the screen.
The app appears to have borrowed some of its stylings from a similar offering by Realmac Software, utilising the same gestures and styles seen in their premium app Clear. Of course, List Lite is a free app with less features but a more attractive price tag. You can use gestures like pulling down from the top of the screen to add a new item, pulling apart two entries to create another in-between them as well as swiping right to complete and left to delete the item.
You can even change the colours of entries and clear your whole list with a swipe up from the bottom of the screen. Despite being an obvious Clear clone, List Lite is a free and easy app to use that won’t cost you a penny to try out – just remember that those gestures work best with a touchpad.
- Gesture-based list management – swipe, tap and manage your to-dos with style.
- List Lite lives in your toolbar the top of the screen, taking up no space in your dock.
- Customise tasks with different colours.
