Do you work with a lot of browser tabs at the same time? If so, then you will be aware of the fact that sometime we open up duplicate tabs because we lose track of all the tabs we have already got opened. Here to help you avoid duplicate tabs is something called LinksWatched.
LinksWatched is a browser tool compatible with Mozilla Firefox. This is a free to use browser add-on you can easily install in your Firefox web browser. The function of this useful tool is to warn you anytime you are going to open a URL already currently opened in another browser tab.
Now because you might already be aware of this and might be opening the URL in a new tab for some work, the add-on does not automatically close the tab. What you get, however, is a small warning in the bottom right corner of Firefox. This warning notifies you of the tab’s duplicate status and it gives you the option of closing the duplicate tab and going to the original tab.
Such a simple feature added to Firefox can help out anybody who works with a lot of browser tabs opened up simultaneously. If you are such a person, then you should definitely give this add-on a try.
