Learnist is an educational startup that launched with a distinctly Pinterest-styled look. It has the same user-friendliness as that tool, but focuses on learning and education. The site has now been redesigned for easier creation and curation. The introduction of customized Reading Lists should also help to take your knowledge forward. If you have been on Learnist before, you should find the new design more pleasing to the eyes.

Learnist

Learnist gives us a visual way to organize our learning through the curation of online content on Learnboards. The new design makes the content look sleeker and more prominent. The categories as always help to discover new Learnboards and links which you would like to save.  New categories and sub-categories have also been added. Tap the Learnist icon on the upper left to look at all of them. A pronounced Add to Reading List button pushes any content you click on to a reading list you can access at your leisure anytime. When you are done, you can remove the content with a click.

New learnboards are also being sourced from notable contributors. The Learnist blog says:

We are excited to share with you the latest version of Learnist on the web, which features some of the best Learnist content made by our users along with premium Learnboards from notable contributors in film, literature, and more.

The positive design changes are visually appealing. With 500,000 Learnboards, the community on Learnist is marching forward. Learnist is a crowdsourced platform, so its future success will depend on the contributions. Have you tried Learnist? Do you like the sleeker look?
