Learning Math Just Got Easier With The Problem Generator From Wolfram Alpha

Wolfram Alpha is one of the best alternative search engines for finding answers to computational queries. Now, Wolfram Alpha has taken the same computational power and turned it into a solution for one of learning’s most “nightmarish” problems – learning mathematics. The Wolfram Problem Generator helps students solve practice problems with clear step-by-step directions. To use Wolfram Problem Generator you need to have a Wolfram Alpha Pro account. You can take it for a free trial before going in for a pro subscription.

Students can pick from six main topics — arithmetic, number theory, algebra, calculus, linear algebra, and statistics. The topics follow the guidelines of Common Core Standards and can be customized according to the grade level. Lessons are available in varying difficulty levels for all ages…from elementary to college.

The Problem Generator

Using the tool is easy. Teachers and students can pick a topic to study and the difficulty level and the tool automatically generates a problem. Wolfram Alpha generates the problems on the fly, instead of using a common database. This ensures you get a new problem every time and each practice session remains unique. You can practice as many problems as you like.

The feedback tells you if the answer is correct or incorrect. If the answer is wrong, you can use the Hint to make another attempt or watch Wolfram Alpha solve it step-by-step for you. Students and teachers can generate printable problem sets on any topic and difficulty level for class quizzes or testing their own concepts.

Learning math takes a lot of practice and then some more. The Wolfram Problem Generator could be well worth a look to hone the mental ability required for one of life’s more essential skills.

THIS IS GREAT! I've been looking for practice problems that are not offered on Khan Academy - for advanced math such as number theory! Hope there are some problems on Complex Analysis!!
