Emojis are now an integral part of online culture. Not only do you need to use them if you want to keep up with social media trends, but they can be intensely practical too, even to the point of transcending language barriers.
What’s cool is that more emojis are still being added even today — and you can be part of that process if you want to be.
All you have to do is download the Emoji> app (yes, that’s not a typo) which is actually an emoji keyboard for iOS. Within the app, you’ll have the ability to view all emojis currently under consideration and vote on the ones you’d like to see implemented.

The app is only available to iOS users as of this writing, but voting can also be done on the web at the Emoji Request website. So even if you’re more of a Windows 10 emoji user or you’re stuck with Android emoji keyboards, you can still have a say in the process.

And remember: emojis don’t always mean what you think they mean. One mistake could turn an otherwise pleasant or poignant conversation awkward in the blink of an eye.
What do you think of the emoji phenomenon? How often do you use them and which ones are your favorite? Will you be requesting any new ones? Let us know below!
