    Despite the downsides (e.g., scams and potential for failure), I think crowdfunding is still one of the best innovations in investment methodologies.

    A nice one wouldve been 'Biggest projects that fell short' (projects that gathered the largest amount of funds but did not make their goals), e.g. Ubuntu Edge. Another one could be about Crowdfunding precursors (before Crowd Funding became popular) e.g. the Blender modeling software.
