IdentityFinder is a free tool for Windows users that searches for confidential information like credit cards and passwords on the computer (there are paid versions of the tool that search for more types of data) and then presents certain options to deal with them and make it more secure.
The following screenshot shows the kind of data it could find. In the free version you only have the credit cards and passwords box enabled but that’s not bad either.
As you can see in the image below, it suggests that you should secure the passwords saved in your Firefox profile with a master password. Just make sure that you re-check before acting on any of its suggestions so that you don’t delete important stuff accidentally.
- Find and secure sensitive data on your computer.
- Free and paid versions available.
- Get suggestions for secure data and take actions accordingly.
- Windows only.
