The new app, somewhat ironically called TaxiLater, allows you to pick a date and time and have an Uber scheduled then. So if you know you need a ride to the airport at 11am on May 15th, you could schedule it from the app easily.

You’ll need an Uber account to use the app, and obviously, you’ll need to authorize the app to have access to the account.     Uber rocks. Lower rates, fast pickups and friendly drivers. If you use this app would you be charged a late fee if you aren't ready? Would the app also automatically accept a surge price?
