Infographics have become an incredibly popular way to display bite-sized bits of information in easy to consume forms of charts, graphics and more. It usually takes quite a bit of designer know-how, patience and some pretty pricey software to get the job done, but thankfully there are quite a few services that aim to make that process a little easier.

We've already covered Ease.ly, and introduced you to Visual.ly, as well as some great tools if you're looking for something more flexible. Now we're adding Infogr.am to the mix.

After signing up for a free account, you'll be presented with three options - create an infographic, a chart, or you can head to your library.

Diving right in to creating an infographic, you can choose from several different templates with varied colour schemes:

You'll then be presented with an infographic containing dummy text, charts and more that you can edit. What's great about the way Infogr.am works is that you can just input the parameters - names, numbers and more - and the site will display it in an attractive chart of your choice.

In addition to the dummy chart and text that you'll find in the template, a menu on the right allows you to add more charts, text, videos, photos and maps.

The 'chart' option is particularly impressive, giving you a wide variety of types of charts to choose from:

Each chart can be modified to suit your personal needs, all of which can be done through a simple spreadsheet built into the service. Assign labels, input figures, and there's simply no limit to the kinds of information that you can add to your infographics using Infogr.am.

As you're working on the infographic, entering your information and graphics into your final product, you can preview how it will look to get a sense of whether or not you're headed in the right direction, but Infogr.am does more than just give you a way to create stunning visuals, it also makes it easy to share them.

Once you're done with your infographic you can publish it to the site, as well as generate a handy embed code which makes it easy to share it elsewhere. The final product is, however, branded with the Infogr.am logo, which is a very small price to pay for the professional level graphics you're getting for free.

It would also seem that Infogr.am plans to bring with it certain elements of the social network. Your user profile will show not only how many infographics you've created, but will also show how many followers you have, however it's not yet clear how to find and follow other users on the site.

Infogr.am is incredibly easy to use. The site is intuitive and beautifully designed, and the infographics that you'll create using it are just as impressive. If you don't have the design know-how and are looking for an easy way to add visually appealing and dynamic content to your blog, your site, or to simply share online, it doesn't get better than this.
