When we think about our favorite bits of science fiction tech, the first thing we tend to think of is how cool it would be if that stuff actually existed. Imagine owning your very own lightsaber, or flying around in the Starship Enterprise. It would be so cool!

But what we don't usually think about is how much these advanced pieces of technology would cost. The spacecrafts we use today are exceedingly expensive, and ships with hyperdrive and all of the other cool Star Trek tech would cost even more. So, it's with that in mind that we look at the cool image below that attempts to figure out how much it would cost to build one of sci fi's most beloved spaceships, the Starship Enterprise.
