What people need to know is that these things are rigged. These travel/hotel deal companies querry the machine making the request. If it determines it's a Mac. it finds more expensive accomodations & prices, higher margins.

At 1st I did not believe this and though it was someone just upset and disgrunteled. Ok so I tested it. I have a Mac and a PC. I put in the same exact info using the same web browser, Firefox. And I got the same results, higher quotes on the Mac.

I tried this some 10 times, different dates, destinations. The Mac was not always higher but it was seven out of ten times on average some 7% or so.

This is not an accident and the travel/hotel deal companies actually admitted it saying (I really have to laugh seriously) that Mac user have a more affluent taste as if PC users are low lives with no taste (I also have to be raged at the insult to my taste and intel).

People should know that this is likely rigged against the iPhone user in the sense they will not get the best deal.
