    Too much wrong here. Money is a quantitative surrogate for relative value. Friendship has value not readily measured. Did a friend get/ cost you a job/ marriage? Did a friend save your ass when you were too drunk to drive? Etc, etc.

    I would only point out that the assumption made too many times that when people talk about cost & profit, they end up talking only about the monetary side of things.

      there is that my friend, but keeping finance is place is necessary ask any married couple who has unplanned child how difficult things can be. One should consider cost associated with socializing and how far do they want to go in financial terms.

        People should consider all costs and profits. Just look at the trade deficit/surplus which only concentrates on the money businesses make and not the profit to the consumer in deciding to buy goods to begin with..

    Hi, great idea, but how about adding TIME cost? I mean how much time you will be spending with friends instead of money earning, investing it in self-development, etc. suppose Considering time here would end up with things much more valuable, than Bentley.
