Gmail Web App Receives Update For iPhone Users [News] gmail logoFor some time now Google has supported a feature that allows users to sign into multiple Google accounts at the same time. I use this feature on a daily basis on my computer, but it was not supported on the iPhone web app. Thankfully, that has changed. Google has pushed an update through that allows users to sign in with multiple Google accounts from the same device and switch seamlessly between them.

Since this is a web app there is nothing users need to do see the changes. Simply head to https://mail.google.com from your iPhone and log in with all your accounts. The account switcher at the very bottom of the screen will allow you to manage the accounts logged in on your phone and sign in and out of your various accounts.

Another part of this update is adding signatures and away messages to your account directly from the web app. Of course, now that you can handle multiple accounts at the same time, you can set different away messages and signatures for each account.

It’s good to see that even though most iOS users sync their mail directly with the device, Google hasn’t given up on the web app and that they continue to upgrade and support it.

I can't see the switcher for some reason. It just has my username but it's not clickable, any ideas?
