Games are a great way to bring a big dose of fun to any gathering. But in most situations, you’ll need to have already purchased a board game or card game before the party gets started.
However, there are a number of different iPhone games available that are perfect for parties, large or small. To help get you started, we’re highlighting some fun iPhone party games.
1. Heads Up!
From talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, Heads Up! is one of the most popular party games available. Perfect for all ages, the game’s appeal is in large part thanks to its simplicity and the fact that it can be played with anywhere between two people to a huge group.
You’ll hold up an iPhone to your forehead, and the phone screen then displays a word from a diverse number of different categories. It’s up to everyone else to give clues so you can correctly guess the right answer. If you guess correctly, tilt the phone screen down to draw a new card. Tilting up will pass the word and also show a new clue.
Some of the fun deck categories include celebrities, movies, animals, accents, and more. So you’ll always find something new to play with. At the end of the round, you can see exactly how well you did. As a hilarious touch, you can even use the iPhone’s front-facing camera to record and then playback videos of everyone trying to give clues.
And if you’re looking to have more age-appropriate fun without an iPhone, take a look at these great family board games you’ve never heard of .
