Free Games for Xbox Live and PS Plus in July 2016

PlayStation Plus

For PS4, first up is Saints Row: Gat out of Hell, a standalone expansion to the crazy open-world title Saints Row IV. The other PS4 title is Furi, an indie action game that’s easy to pick up but has plenty of depth to master.

PS3 owners will pick up Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, a first-person Western-style shooter, and Fat Princess, a multiplayer action-strategy game where the goal is to rescue your princess while keeping the other team’s princess safe.

Over on the Vita, you’ll receive Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines, a Japanese RPG Japanese RPGs Aren't Dead: 3 Solid Games Released In The Last Year If you are a fan of the genre and you feel like it's getting lost in a sea of first-person shooters and MOBAs, you really should check these games out. An added bonus this month is early access to the Paragon beta, which launches for everyone else on August 16. You’ll also receive a pack of digital content to give you a boost.

Xbox Live

Xbox One owners can also play the Xbox 360 games using the system’s backwards compatibility. First on XBO is The Banner Saga 2, the recent sequel to the Viking-themed tactical RPG. Then on July 16th, Tumblestone, a new match-three puzzle game 20 Cool Puzzle Games You Can Play Free in Your Browser Browser-based games are perfect for a quick casual game. On the 360 side, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 starts out the month with an entry in the popular tactical shooter franchise. Tron: Evolution, a movie-tie in game from the film Tron: Legacy, rounds out the collection for this month.
