There’s no better place to find gift ideas than Pinterest. Personally, I’m a big fan of digital gifts — especially online subscription gifts — but there’s no denying the fact that 15 minutes on Pinterest can load you up with enough gift ideas to last you a decade… as long as you know where to look.
For those who aren’t acquainted with Pinterest yet, you may want to check out our complete guide to Pinterest . However, Pinterest is so easy to use that you can benefit from this post even if you’ve never used the site before. You don’t even need to create an account. Just visit these boards and take as many ideas as you can find!
Gift Ideas is a collection of over 80 different boards where each board focuses on a particular type of gift. You want Christmas gift ideas? Anniversary gifts? Valentines gifts? They’ve got them all. Plus, some of the categorization goes by topic, not occasion: gifts for coffee and tea lovers, student gifts, baby gifts, fragrances, sports gifts, and more.
Like Gift Ideas, Gifts.com is a collection of boards dedicated to gift ideas, yet Gifts.com is the more mature version in many ways. Most importantly, there are over 9,000 ideas posted across 70 boards, so there’s definitely no shortage of suggestions. Of course, it does help that Gifts.com is an actual gift ideas site.
Here’s a great collection of boards for those of you who prefer to make, not buy, their gifts. DIY Boards is a massive collection of DIY gift ideas for pretty much any occasion that comes to mind. There are over 500 boards and 40,000 pins to browse — if you don’t find a great DIY idea here, you won’t find it anywhere.
Sometimes it seems more difficult to find an awesome gift for a guy than for a girl. Manly gifts tend to fall into three groups: clothing, gadgets, and sports. The secret to a great guy gift — or any gift, really — is to make sure it coincides with their personality and interests. Fortunately, ForMenGifts.com will get you started with over 3,000 gift ideas.
Unlike the other suggestions on this list, this one isn’t a collection of boards. It’s a single board ran by Susan Leahy called Cute Gifts, and it has over 900 cute gift ideas. I’ve seen a lot of cool stuff on there and 27,000+ followers seem to agree with me.
The only downside is that it hasn’t been updated in a few months, but there are plenty of ideas to go through and most of them are timeless.
Pinterest is a huge community and I’m sure there are plenty of other boards with some amazing gift ideas. If you use Pinterest for this purpose, please share with us in the comments which boards you use! We’d love to hear about them.
