Have you ever wondered when you installed an app or program in Windows? As it turns out, Microsoft has made it easy to find out when an app was installed on your PC.
Well, sort of. While you find the information really easily (as we’ll show you), it actually shows when the app was updated. So if, for example, you downloaded a program on March 1st, but updated it on April 2nd, you’d see the later date as the installed time.
Caveat aside, getting the info is Windows 10 is incredibly easy. Open the Settings app (either by typing Settings into Cortana, or hitting Windows key + I). From there, click System, then Apps & features.
Each app will show you when installation date on the right side of the screen. If you want to see which apps are oldest or newest, you can use the sort dropbox to organize them by date.
It doesn’t get much easier than that!
What’s the oldest installed program on your computer? Let us know in the comments!
