Enter to Win a Free Surface 3 + Last Chance to Enter for a Chromebook Pixel

Dave LeClair 06-05-2015

Today we have two giveaways for you guys. Whether you’re a fan of Windows or Chrome OS, we have a device for you to win today (or even better, enter to win both, so you get an even higher chance of taking one home for free)!

First, we have a Microsoft Surface 3 to give away to one lucky winner. This tablet from Microsoft is the latest in its Surface line, and you can take it home for free!

Also, we have a giveaway that we told you about before that is about to end. That’s the top-of-the-line Chromebook Pixel. This one ends in one day, so you need to make sure you enter to win while you still can!

Let’s take a look at some of the reasons you’re going to want to enter each one of these awesome giveaways!

Surface 3 Specs and Features

So what is this surface 3 that you can win? First of all, it’s Microsoft’s new $500 tablet that can be made into a hybrid with its Type Cover. We should note that the keyboard cover and the pen pictured above aren’t included in this giveaway. But don’t worry, because this is still a fantastic device that you’ll love!

As for the specs, you’ll find a 10.8-inch screen that features a full 1920X1080 resolution. The model we have features 64GB of internal storage, and 4GB of RAM. Running all of that is an Intel Atom x7 processor.

The device itself is quite small and light, coming with total dimensions of 10.52″ x 7.36″ x 0.34″ and a weight of 622g, so you can carry it around everywhere you go without issue.

Of course, you’ll be getting the full Windows 8.1 experience, and a free upgrade to Windows 10 once that launches if you aren’t a fan of Windows 8.

Whether you plan to use it as a tablet, or get the keyboard and make this your laptop, this is a fantastic device, and one that you can take home for free!

Chromebook Pixel Specs and Features

You’ll be getting Google’s Chrome OS installed. It’ll be an interesting change if you’re used to a full desktop OS, but it offers a great deal of speed and performance in a smaller, more lightweight package.

The screen of the Pixel is 12.85 inches. It’s also a touchscreen, which affords you more control options than most other Chromebooks on the market. That display features a beautiful 2560×1700 resolution.

You’ll also find 8GB of RAM, a 2.2GHz processor, and a battery that can last up to 12 hours. For anyone who has ever had to get some work done, only to find that their laptop’s battery wasn’t up to the job, this massive 12 hour battery life will be a true joy.

All in all, this is one of the best Chromebooks available on the market today. While most Chromebooks come with a low price, this one is $999, and that’s due to the high specs and top-of-the-line screen. Seriously, you’ll forget that you’re using a Chromebook after spending just a couple of minutes with this beauty.

I might be going on a trip soon and my laptop screen kind of broke. I could really use that Surface. Can't see why anyone would want the other one though.

Having used a Chromebook 90% of the time for the last year or so, I could easily see why a whole lot of people would want the Pixel. I don't believe a Chromebook is for everyone, but for a good portion of the population, it's exactly what they need.

Yeah weird, to me laptops are about using software, just like a smaller desktop.

I don't want to be forced to use cloud at all. There are too many places where there's no wifi available and even where it is it's too slow to access files. I tried using a cloud drive for common files on my home FiOS connection for a while and it was awful.
