Are you looking for an online creative outlet for your kids? Then you should check out free multimedia tools offered by Creaza. This is a social website that lets your kids work on various multimedia creations like cartoons, movies, audio mixes, and mind-maps.
Once you have signed up, click on the "My Media Files" to start uploading your files. You can then use these files with the different tools on the website: Cartoonist for creating comics, Mindomo for creating mind maps, Audio Editor for generating sound effects, and Movie Editor for creating movies
In Mindomo, start by clicking the "Central Topic" button and add more topics by clicking the "Subtopic" button. You can add notes, hyperlinks, multimedia, and tasks for each topic.
In Cartoonist, drag items from the right panel and add speech bubbles or change moods by using the menus on top. Audio Editor lets you add tracks and manipulate them using the mixer. You can split, resize and rearrange audio files by dragging them around in the mixer.
To edit a video, select "Movie Editor" and drag the files in the timeline to modify it. You can also add photos, audio clips, texts, and video effects.
Creaza has free and paid account options available. The free account gives you 25MB storage and lets you use all the tools without restrictions, although you cannot export or download your files unless you get a paid account. However, you can share a link of your work to your friends.
