Other companies? Such as Smith & Wesson, Winchester or Colt?

If zombies are anything like the ones on Walking Dead, they are slow, obvious, uncoordinated, easy to get away from, and easy to avoid. They have serious problems with stairs and a ladder is out of their league. Doorknobs are a complete mystery to them. Almost any industrial structure with steel doors and a ladder to the roof would work to keep them off. The only things you would need are food and water.

There is a small warehouse just a quarter mile away that has poured concrete walls 15 feet high, Every door is industrial grade steel, and there is even a ladder on the outside that would be impossible for a zombie to climb. It is enclosed by a 8 foot industrial grade chain link fence around a fair sized parking lot with a heavy duty gate. And, the product stored there is food intended for places like bars, including things like Slim Jims, Potato chips, pickled eggs, pickled sausages, peanuts, olives, check mix and such. And, because I once worked on their security system, I know where a key is hidden.

And what if we wind up with terrifying "fast zombies" instead of the more traditional "slow zombies"? Can't be too careful....

I simply cannot understand the fascination society has for this zombie garbage,IMHO,so composing an article detailing how to protect oneself from a fictional threat is a pure waste of time. I was never a fan of the Planet of the Apes movies, either for similar reasons.
