Do you send out emails for business purposes, and need to know whether the recipient is actually opening the emails you are sending? Maybe you are in sales, and want to see if the emails you are spending your precious time crafting are actually being seen at all? Whatever your reason for wanting to see whether your emails have been opened or not, ContactMonkey is the perfect method for you.
It makes it easy to see at what time an email has been opened, and where in the world it was opened.
Installing ContactMonkey is incredibly easy. You simply go to the website, sign up for a free 14 day trial, and install one of the available plugins for your email method of choice. You can run it on Outlook 2010, Outlook 2007, and in Google Chrome with Gmail. Either way, it offers the same features, it’s just a matter of preference.
Once installed, ContactMonkey will direct you to send a test email to it. ContactMonkey will respond with some helpful tips, and you will be able to see how it works.
ContactMonkey works in two ways. Inside an email, you will see the number of times it has been opened. You can click the number and see where and when it was opened. There is also a sidebar that offers the same information about individual emails, as well as information on your inbox as a whole. This is quite useful for seeing how many of your emails are being opened overall.
Features:
- Find out where and when your sent emails are opened.
- Get insights into your email as a whole.
- Install to Google Chrome or Outlook.
- Free 14 day trial.

Great Giveaway.Can i have one?
since I am using gmail in firefox, i am happy with either spypig, or bananatag.
that is totally sufficient for private usage, but if i had a company, i think your service would be indeed very useful!
Great giveaway! Would love to have a license :)
What a cool idea!!! Finally a way to know if contacts are reading emails or just deleting them!!

This sounds like a fabulous idea for our non-profit use. We never can tell if members are reading our emails or not.
Thanks for free 1year license :) Shared on FB.

Thanks for sharing this tool of your e-mails if they are being opened - at least.
Would love to try this as it is often critical to know when an email has been read.
Great idea
Makes perfect sense.
will try in outlook
Great product to check if you are getting through
I have already commented here yesterday, but I do not see it now
i am commenting here but unable to share it on facebook due to proxy limitations. A very good product to check some one is lying or not
Great product! I always worry whether my team (virtually located) has read my mails. This will take care of that worry
Nice feature to have but isn't that an invasion to privacy?
What a great product! Fills that gap between the knowledge gained from bulk email marketing and web analytics. Ideal for sales and also finance.
I've been following these guys for awhile! Great to see contactmonkey growing. A very handy tool to see when and how often an email was opened. Whether in sales or when working with clients. I can't wait to actually try it out! And I shared the article on Facebook :)
I send out quite a few emails and NEVER hear back whether or not they've been received or opened or sent to the junk folder....nothing...so this would be good for all those feeble attempts I've made at contacting people who initially send me an email for information, then fall off the face of the earth!
GREAT!!
Thanks
Looks good and would like to try it.
