5. Quantum Break

Quantum Break is a wonderfully interesting science fiction game. You play as Jack Joyce, a man who can manipulate time after an experiment goes wrong, and it’s up to him to stop an apocalyptic event.

The game blends live-action clips from the companion television show and also has multiple endings depending on actions the player takes. It looks amazing, plays well, and boasts a gripping story. If you like deep adventures, Quantum Break is the game for you.


6. Halo Wars 2

Halo is traditionally a first-person shooter, but this spin-off turns it into a real-time strategy game. Halo Wars 2 improved upon its predecessor with an improved control scheme and better storyline.

In the game, you must construct and control your base as you build infantry and control their movement on the battlefield. There’s a 13-level campaign to sink your teeth into, along with multiple multiplayer modes. If you like traditional Halo, but fancy something different, give Halo Wars 2 a go.

7. Gears 5

Gears 5 is a third-person shooter that moves focus to Kait Diaz, a character from previous games in the series. With the world falling apart, the Swarm has corrupted the Coalition’s robot army, and all the while, Kait is making some discoveries about herself.

9. Halo 5: Guardians

The Halo story will never end, but if it maintains this quality then who cares? Master Chief’s saga continues in Halo 5: Guardians, where Fireteam Osiris are sent to find the missing leader of the Blue Team who has vanished on the hunt for Cortana.
