We think that JEFIT is one of the best workout tracker apps. It is quite feature-rich. You can set your exercises, track the weights and reps you achieved, plan your training goals, log your body measurements, organize your gym schedule, add notes to your workouts, and a whole lot more.

JEFIT also includes useful integrations such as rest timers, interval timers, and support for supersets and circuit training. A pro plan adds advanced training reports and stat comparison with other users, plus it removes the ads. This costs $3.33 per month.

6. Aaptiv

Aaptiv brands itself as an “audio fitness app.” In practice, that means that a music playlist accompanies each of the 3,000 individual workout routines. The tracks are predominantly modern chart hits.

If you live in a cramped apartment, Freeletics is the best workout app you’ll find. It has a special filter to find exercises you can perform in a 2×2 yard space.

Aside from the space filter, you’ll find all the usual fitness content. That includes 900 workouts, customized 10-30 minute routines based on your body weight, a fitness planner, and a workout coach.

The coach, along with some community benefits, are locked behind a paywall.

8. Daily Burn

Daily Burn has a few unique features that make it an awesome workout app for men and women alike.

Most notably, there’s a live daily workout that you can stream directly from your device. The live show is at 9am EST every day, though you can watch it at any time for the following 24 hours. It’s also straightforward to access the content via Android TV and Roku so you can follow on your larger TV screen.

    Why are fit and healthy young people always promoted in fitness gymnasiums and other fitness advertising.
    If they did the same as we did when we were young, tree-climbing, rope swings, kicking a ball in a field or park, billy-carting and pulling the cart back up the hill and many other natural activities.
    More walking or riding a bicycle to work instead of using a car, then going to a gym and spending money is a very strange human activity.
    The silliest looking attire is 'must have lycra' covering all the nooks and crannies of the body, mostly very unattractive, and expensive.

      They probably did the same when they were kids, but they aren't kids anymore... People have different circumstances, they might not be able to walk or ride a bike to work. They might not even have the space in their home to have a bike. For me, I don't like having to throw my laptop in a backpack along with other stuff to ride my bike to work, just to feel sweaty and stinky the rest of the day. I like feeling clean, professional and presentable. Gyms provide equipment that would otherwise take up an entire room in a home, and lets consider the cost of that equipment. I can burn 1,000-1,200 calories an hour at the gym on an ARC trainer. Leg presses, squats, etc... all exercises that are rather impossible to even consider doing normal "natural activities."
      I see a some, perhaps not enough, advertisements featuring out of shape people. Ads featuring fit people might give a misrepresentation that you already have to be in shape to benefit from going to the gym, which is far from the truth.
      Lycra and other tight fitting attire are worn for freedom of movement, and yes, there are many people that like showing off their curves and others enjoy seeing those curves. If you don't like seeing curves, well, that's on you... don't go to the gym then, or to the local biking paths. Definitely don't go to the beach or the mall where you might see people in bikinis, or heavier weight people in their spandex.
