What Will Be The Codenames Of The Next Android Versions?

One of the things I’ve always liked about Android were the version code names. I think they’re brilliant, and had I owned something like Android I would do the exact same thing for names. What could be better than desserts? But several questions arise – why are there no A and B names? What could they have been? And what are the next version names going to be?

The Smartphone Syndrome: Are We Becoming Too Addicted To Our Phones For Our Own Good? [Opinion]

Let me start by saying that this is not a rant against smartphones, or a call for everyone to go back to Nokia 6070s. I think smartphones are basically awesome and I have nothing against the basic idea of replacing our phones with mini-computers. My problem starts when the lines between fun and work, between alone and together, between communication and confusion – become blurred.

How To Chat On Google Talk (Without Leaving Your Browser) No Matter What Website You’re On

There’s one thing about Gtalk that really bothers me. I can only see it when I’m in the Gmail tab, and I easily miss new messages because the only notification I get is when the title of the tab blinks. True, I could go for a desktop client, but many times I have to use other computers, and I can’t always install whatever I want. What then? I set out to find in-browser solutions that will solve this Gtalk problem once and for all.

Tweak & Customize The Color In Windows 7’s Aero Glass With These 5 Tools

One of my favorite features in Windows 7 is Aero Glass. There’s something really appealing about the whole Aero look, and I love changing the look and feel of my system by changing Aero colors. But Windows 7 only offers 14 pre-set Aero colors, and if I need a change I have to go to my display options and do it manually. So Aero colors are a lovely thing, but let’s admit it, they’re a bit limited.
