AppSyncer: Sync Your Installed Apps Between Devices [Android 2.1+]

Tim Brookes 24-11-2012

AppSyncer is a free app that can help you better manage your setup across multiple Android devices. The app takes a list of currently installed applications and allows you to choose which you would like to sync. You can then simply install AppSyncer on your other Android device and watch the apps go.

The app does not sync your app data (i.e. personal settings and game progress) between devices, only the apps themselves. It does not require root access to run, so you can install on a regular Android 2.1 or better device and keep your favourite utilities to hand regardless of which device you’re currently using.

  • Populate a list of apps and sync them between Android devices.
  • Requires no root access.
  • Syncs only the apps, not the app data.
  • Works with devices running Android 2.1 or better.

Apps are what is needed to make your smartphone smart and unique.Im fond of app creating and find it really helpful to use site like Snappii where i can build apps in hours. I have already published some apps available in the Appstore and Google Play.

AppSync, which also has a free version, will sync data and settings along with the app also. I see a little value I suppose in syncing just the apps, but being able to transfer game progress, keystroke dictionaries, and all settings is much more of what I would consider a true sync.

It's still very early in development though. I have had great success with it, between my Atrix and Galaxy Note...but I've read on the xda thread that some people aren't as lucky. I would definitely give it try though.
