Netflix may have won Super Bowl LII thanks to The Cloverfield Principle, but Amazon wasn't far behind. Amazon's Super Bowl ad showed what would happen were Alexa to lose her voice, with celebrities standing in for her. And one of those celebrities was Gordon Ramsay.

Ramsay is a world-renowned chef most famous for shouting and swearing at people on Kitchen Nightmares and Hell's Kitchen. There's really no need for him to be so nasty, but it has earned him a fortune. And now you too can have your cooking criticized by the Scottish chef.

Beware the Beef Bourguignon

This is all thanks to a new Gordon Ramsay-themed Alexa skill developed with the blessing of the man himself. Once enabled, Ramsay will tell you exactly what he thinks of your overdone scrambled eggs or bland beef bourguignon. And he won't mince his words.

On the Alexa Skills page, the developer suggests that you "invite your favorite chef over for dinner." Not literally, of course. Once enabled, "Just tell Gordon what dish you made, and he'll give you his best critique. You just better hope your cooking is up to his standards."

This Alexa skill is rather limited, it has to be said. Whatever dish you ask Ramsay to critique you'll be hit with one of a number of stock responses. Still, he is capable of paying a compliment from time to time, and there are some Easter eggs included for specific holidays. So it isn't all bad.

Swearing Is So Unnecessary

There are plenty of Alexa skills you should enable before you invite Gordon Ramsay to swear at you. However, once you've sorted out your news, music, and trivia needs, there should be a little room left for frivolity, even if that comes in the form of Gordon F**king Ramsay.

What's your favorite Alexa skill? Do you ever go hunting for new ones? What do you think of this Gordon Ramsay-themed Alexa skill? Are you likely to let him criticize your food? Or would you rather just eat it? Please let us know in the comments below!
