Not all of us are blessed with a memory that is remarkable enough to remember all the tasks we need to do. Most people need to create to-do lists for chores and set up reminders for their tasks to ensure that important things are not skipped. While there are many to-do list creation and management applications, many of them lack app reminding features or they simply do not support the latest Windows 8.
If you have a computer that is running this operating system and you are looking for a task reminding and management application, you should check out a tool called ActiveNote.
ActiveNote is a free to use desktop application for computers running the Windows 8 OS. This free application lets you store notes on your computer and set up reminders for those notes. You are given a sleek interface that categorizes your notes into self-explanatory categories that are labeled Active, Completed, and Today. You can add notes to your list by using the text field in the bottom right of the application.
While adding a note you can set up a reminder for it. The reminder settings interface shows up in the right pane of the app. You can set up the reminder to appear at a specific duration before the task is due.
