Single: Coins – Volt Renfrew

Genre: electronic, dance, house

Previously featured in two editions of Sound Sunday (Electronic 11 Free Electronic Music Albums To Download [Sound Sunday] Read More & Dance & Relax) this Toronto-based band is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Here is a powerful electronic dance track that will blow your mind…if you’re into that kind of music that is.

The White Panda – Bambooyah!

Genre: electronic, dance, party, remix, mashup

From their Facebook page: “The White Panda formed when two boyhood friends discovered they had independently embarked on mashup careers in college. Chicago-based Procrast (Tom Evans) first blended Rick Astley snippets with 2 Live Crew grooves as a way to avoid productive activity in 2008, while DJ Griffi (Dan Griffith) embarked on the same mission, for a similar purpose, in Los Angeles. Their combined effort, the White Panda, launched in 2009 with a single that topped internet radio charts days later. They’ve since had 27 singles reach #1 on Hype Machine.”

Proximal Records – Beat Stew Volume Five

Genre: electronic, ambient, funk, dance, hip hop

From the album page: “Beat Stew Volume Five is the sixth installment of the Beat Stew mixtape series from Proximal Records. For this latest edition the only criteria given to the contributing artists was “dance music” and our vagueness paid off. Broken into three parts, BSV5 is a wild and varied journey through the sounds of artists new, established, near and far. We’re hoping that this will be a great exclamation point to the 2013 summer.”

I'm surprised Wolfgun is in this list. It's a pretty good musician in my opinion, he should be more known everywhere!

I really enjoyed this album. Why are you surprised they are on the list? Isn't it great to have good musicians on there? :)

Oh, yeah! It's excellent! The thing is that this is the first time I see someone "advertise" one of his records, he's a pretty good musician but I've never seen, like, a lot of people talking about him, nor a big site like MUO posting a link to his stuff. It's great! :)
