Have you been collecting awesome notes and information in Evernote for a while, but not really experimented with the many Android apps and widgets you can use yet? Well, if this sounds like you then you’ll love today’s line-up of apps.
We know there’s a good number of Evernote fans and Android fans lurking on MakeUseOf, so we thought we’d make a list of apps and widgets fans of both would appreciate. So here’s the best Evernote apps and widgets for Android!
The Official Evernote App
Of course, the Evernote App should be the very first app you add. Everything you can do with other apps can be done via this app, as well as allowing you access to everything you’ve already added to Evernote.
The Official Evernote Widget [No Longer Available]
If you have the official Evernote app installed, the Evernote Widget app is the perfect accessory. The widget gives you easy access to all the most popular Evernote functions. There are two widgets you can use: the smaller one lets you add text, audio or snapshot notes quickly, as well as letting you search; the larger widget will do all this as well as show snippets of recently viewed notes.
If you’re trying to memorise something you’ve put aside in Evernote, then Revunote is the app for you. Revunote uses spaced repetition to ensure you revise in a timely manner, so whatever it is you’re hoping to learn will eventually stick in your mind.
Evernote Hello [No Longer Available]
If you find it hard to keep track of all the people you meet, Evernote Hello is for you. It lets you track encounters with people, while linking them to LinkedIn profiles or Android contacts. Add photos, notes and whatever else you need in order to jog your memory later. It will even list related contacts for you so you can easily group people you met at similar times.
Everstudent Student Planner
If you’re a student who needs to keep track of tasks for different classes and a wide variety of assignments, Everstudent Student Planner can really help you. Different semesters or terms can be grouped together for easy scanning, and classes can be assigned different colours to keep things clear. Meanwhile, the details of assignments and other tasks can be quite involved, using all the available tools of Evernote.
If you love food, the Evernote Food [No longer available] app will certainly appeal. Keep track of all the awesome food you’ve eaten using this Evernote-based app. Take photos and add a few details, then you can either browse using this app or see the records in Evernote elsewhere.
Evernote Skitch [No Longer Available]
This Evernote Skitch app lets you easily annotate your photos with arrows, text and other shapes, which is very useful for highlighting details. Then you can store them in Evernote for safe keeping.
Camscanner isn’t just for Evernote, but it makes it very easy to scan documents using your phone and store them in Evernote, so it’s well worth adding! Read more about it in this article:
