30% Off The iPad Mini and Dell Takes 25% Off The Top [Tech Deals]
We’ve got a number of excellent deals this week. First and foremost, both Dell and Radioshack are offering pretty great deals. In particular, you can take advantage of two deals that let you walk away with an iPad Mini for around $204.99.
Two amazing deals fram Radioshack and Dell.
Radioshack’s $5-25 Trade-in Extravaganza
- Price: Up to $25 in gift cards
- Retailer: Radioshack
Radioshack is currently offering up to $25 in gift cards for trading in old electronics. The old electronics are valued at $5 per item. It’s been suggested that bringing in cheap products purchased at the dollar store would qualify. However, you must meet the following criteria:
- Working electronics;
- ID required;
- All trades must be processed at the same time;
- You can receive credit off your next purchase instead of a gift card;
- Only five items can be traded in for each driver’s license.
I suggest using the gift card to purchase Amazon gift cards, which are almost as good as cash. However, Radioshack offers a number of quality items, such as the iPad Mini. Keep reading for details on the iPad Mini.
- Price: 25% to 30% off laptops, monitors and more
- Retailer: Dell.com
- Coupon code: 459N3HPMP0?8FG (30% off Latitude tablets)
- Coupon code: QT3L8DPHWPMF1S (30% off refurbished monitors)
- Coupon code: VS18$N5BQQ7Z1W (25% outlet business PC)
Dell currently offers between 25% and 30% off many of its tablets, desktops and monitors. Just hop on over to the main site to see some of the devices. Just remember to filter your searches for items that are eligible for use with the coupons.
This week we’ve got a Radioshack iPad Mini and a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1″ for cheap. I consider the iPad deal to be among the best I’ve seen this week.
Apple iPad Mini (Refreshed)
- Price: $229.99 or $204.99 with gift card; compare to $299.99 brand new
- Retailer: Radioshack
For those of you seeking to take advantage of Radioshack’s trade-in promotion, you can get a 16GB iPad Mini for $204.99. In our estimation, the iPad Mini is a great product , although dollar-per-dollar, a Nexus 7 offers better value .
On the downside, Radioshack will not accept returns on this particular item. It’s a “refreshed” product, meaning it’s an open-box that’s been factory reset. It comes with a standard, year-long warranty.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1″ 2014 Version (Refurbished)
- Price: $389.99; compare to $569.99 (new) on eBay
- Retailer: Groupon
The 2014 edition of the Galaxy Note 10.1″ is a great device (we reviewed the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition ). It includes Android 4.3, which finally supports TRIM (why is TRIM important? ) and includes 16GB of storage. The 90-day warranty is standard for many refurbished products. Which is why I highly suggest making sure you didn’t buy a lemon using a rigorous stress-testing and analysis methodology.
Need an SSD? You’re in luck!
- Price: $259; compare to $285 on eBay
- Retailer: Amazon
The M500 is one of the most reliable SSDs on the market. It includes a very good 3-year warranty and high data transfer speeds. It uses a later build Marvel controller, meaning it’s quite fast.
Remember to keep your SSDs running in optimal condition. Unfortunately, Crucial doesn’t offer an all-in-one toolkit for maintaining your drive . In general, you will need to rely on the operating system’s TRIM to keep the drive optimized.
I managed to locate a steeply discounted HDTV this week.
- Price: $394.99; compare to $599 MSRP
- Retailer: TigerDirect via eBay
TigerDirect via eBay offers a 50″-inchHDTV for the low price of $394.99. The TCL monitor received good reviews (roughly 80% positive) and for a 50-inch LED HDTV, this is an excellent purchase.
The Radioshack promotion lets you walk away with an iPad Mini for $204.99, which is a steal by any standard. However, if Apple products aren’t your thing, I highly recommend checking out Dell’s website, particularly its laptops, for other very good deals.
That’s it for this week! Check back next week for the same great deals!
