Dude, I’m like free and I undelete. Simple is like, how I am. No frills, just focused on the zen of recovery, y’know. Like, when I need to bring back a file that got some bad karma, I just say, “Whoa, stop! Reflect for a moment. To move is to erase.”

Last but not least, let’s give a big Data Game welcome to contestant number three!

ADRC Data Recovery Software Tools

Good evening, I am ADRC Data Recovery Software Tools, but you may call me ADRC. On the surface, I’m a simple program with functionality and ease of use always in mind. I’m thinking of you. But deep down I’m very well rounded, somewhat complex even. One could say that I’m the Renaissance Man of free data recovery.

When you undelete with me, I give you so much more than your lost files back. I bring to the table the ability to back up a disk image and restore it. I can copy files from your hard disk with bad sectors, perform disk cloning, as well as backup, edit and restore your boot parameters. Really, is there anything I can’t do? That’s a rhetorical question, my dear.

There you have it, contestant One, Two and Three. So which one will win the Data Game? Well, that’s up to you, our lucky Data Batchelor or Batchlorette!  Tell me, which one will it be? Or do you have a special someone else in mind?

I deleted my files on my computer and typed over it. Can this software recover them?

At this point, you'd need a data recovery specialist, or at least their kind of tools. Very expensive either way, and still no guarantee.

lol I almost found myself singing along! And I'm not even a "dad". I certainly was rapping it though I loath most Rap!

Gave me a feel for the tools. Pretty darn clever if you ask me.
Those "Tools" above gave me a kinda 'don't-buy' vibe so off with their heads. lol

Do you perhaps know if it is possible to retrieve overwritten data? I overwrote with an Acronis image backup on the wrong drive while half sleep-walking (darn clutz!) so I get file structures and unreadable files all over the show with RecoverMyFiles, Active@ Recover Partition/Recover Files and Remo Recover. Of the three, Active@ Files Recover after its SuperScan gave me the best results. At least it gave me the names of my directories back but broken snippets or unreadable files.

I realise the magnetic signature may be lost while being overwritten, but is there a way to reverse the process?

You're right Guy, it's nice to read in different style once in awhile. Keep it up!

I once in need of this tool, I googled it and found restoration (WinSFX32 Self Extractor for Win32). I finally managed to undelete the files I was looking for. It's quite small, only single .exe file.

Yeah, it was kind of lame, but I get sick of the same old dry geek-speak, don't you? If you wanted that you can go to their respective homepages.

See, I'm also a Dad, so I'm licensed for corny humour. That's what Dad's do.
