If you are someone who loves to customize and spruce up your browsing experience on Firefox, it is likely that you use tools like Personas Plus. This is a great extension for skinning Firefox with a picture. But, what if you want to take it a step further?

The Firefox Add-On site has what are called Complete Themes and these do more than just give you a cool picture. They can change your button images, customize your tabs and menus, and overall give Firefox that whole themed package.

There are close to 500 of these Complete Themes on the Firefox Add-On site. Unfortunately, most do not work with the most current version, Firefox 44. Luckily, we have a nice list of those that do. So, for those who enjoy the customization options available in Firefox, there might be the perfect one here to suit your taste or mood.

For the Kiddos

Kids should enjoy their browsing experience too and Scribblies Kids [No Longer Available] is perfect. The buttons are in a cartoon-style and the window backgrounds have a comical computer.

It's a pretty light blue, suitable for both boys and girls. And, you do not have to be a kid to like Scribblies because there are two variations that adults might like too. Scribblies Brite [No Longer Available] has vibrant colors and Scribblies Plain [No Longer Available] gives you the same button images but with a white background.

For the Trekkies

LCARStrek [No Longer Available] gives you bright, neon-colored accents with the same look as the LCARS interface from the Federation Star ships. Even if you are not a "Star Trek" fan, this theme is still awesome. The rounded borders, vibrant colors, and total package for your tabs, menus, and windows make Firefox really pop with this Complete Theme.

Blending It Together

Nautipolis for Firefox [No Longer Available] is a neat theme that blends nautical, retro, and other designs into one. So, while there may not be lively colors in this theme as some of the others have, it has an understated attractiveness with a simple gray skin and bold-colored buttons. Of course, your tabs, menus, and windows will all carry the same appealing look.

Make Your Buttons Cute

According to the developer, Qute 6++ [No Longer Available] is a version of Arvid Axelsson's icon set Qute, which goes back to the old Phoenix days of Firefox. While the background is plain white, the buttons are cute and cheery. A variation on this theme called Qute 5++ [No Longer Available] looks quite similar with slight adjustments to the button images.

Dark is Dark

If you like black backgrounds and humble buttons styles, then there are two terrific choices. NASA Night Launch [No Longer Available] is a gorgeous dark theme with elegantly simple button icons. This one lets you concentrate on your Web page content without anything flashy.
