10 Cool Gaming Items You Can Get On Etsy For Under $20

Joel Lee 02-09-2014

It can be hard to find unique and interesting items on Etsy. If you’re willing to shell out a lot of cash, you might be able to find some neat stuff in the upper range, but much of the lower-priced goodies are commonplace. Is there anything cool to buy under $20?

I dug through what was available and these were my best finds. What do you think? Are they worth it?

League of Legends Etched Shot Glass ($7)

Made by PuppyBaoCreations, these shot glasses are a classy way to enjoy a drink while showing your support for your favorite games. Etched images include champions from League of Legends, characters from Pokemon, and even a few non-gaming themes like Harry Potter and Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Game-Themed Wall Clock ($8) [No longer available]

Seller gameagain produces custom-made wall clocks that feature simple but stylish images from a variety of games, including Halo, Resident Evil, Chrono Cross, and Super Mario. The clock faces have a 9″ diameter and they run on a single AA battery, making them a great way to spruce up a gaming room without being overly gaudy.

Hearthstone Charm ($10)

This simple charm from TrenoNights, which is a replica of the iconic hearthstone item in Warcraft lore, is a light and easy way for fans of Hearthstone and World of Warcraft to show off in a subtle way. Each one is handmade from polymer clay and painted with acrylic.

TrenoNights also stocks dozens of charms from other video games like Super Mario, Legend of Zelda, and Kingdom Hearts.

Bead Pixel Art Figure ($10+)

Using Perler beads to replicate pixel art isn’t a new idea anymore, but these creations are executed so well that it doesn’t matter. They’re just a few inches tall and they’re free-standing, so you can set them up as decorations anywhere.

Glass Pendant Necklace ($11+)

Looking for a gaming pendant necklace? The ones by girlgamegeek are both plentiful and beautiful. Covered in rounded glass, 1″ in diameter, and framed in metal (bronze, silver, or antique bronze), these handmade pendants are definitely worth it. For a little extra, you can customize your order with your own images and/or text.

MOBA “Carry and Support” Rings ($15)

Whether you’re a fan of Dota 2 or League of Legends (or any of the numerous other MOBAs soon to be released), you’ll be able to appreciate this humorous pair of rings. Made from aluminum, they will not tarnish. They’re also pliable and can be self-adjusted to accommodate most finger sizes.

If “Carry” and “Support” aren’t your style, you can make a purchase note to TeamNeville and she will customize the text to your liking.

Super Mario Block Pencil Holder ($15)

Here’s another Perler bead pixel art creation from LittleShoppeOfPixels. As opposed to a free-standing figure, which is nice for decoration but has little practical use, this Super Mario box is great for small-scale storage and organization. Technically it’s meant to hold pencils, but there’s nothing stopping you from putting in whatever else you can fit into its 3″x3″x3″ space.

Minimalist Gaming Wall Print ($20) [No longer available]

If you have some empty wall space that needs filling, check out these prints by CaptainsPrintShop. At 11″x17″, they’re large enough to add a nice touch of style to any room, yet small enough that they don’t feel juvenile or tacky. The prints are made of card stock and do NOT come with a frame. You’ll have to buy that separately.

Prints are available for a wide array of games, including Bioshock, Fallout, The Last of Us Pull Out The Tissues: 5 Video Games That Will Make You Cry Video games offer something that no other narrative medium can: interactivity. And when it comes to emotional gaming, there are some seriously impactful scenes that will take your breath away. Read More , and Destiny. Prints from other media, such as movies, are available as well.

Legend of Zelda Hylian Flask ($20)

I don’t know many people who carry around flasks, but maybe you do. Or maybe you don’t. Even if a flask isn’t part of your usual outfit, it can still work great as a decorative item on a shelf, cabinet, or desk. It’s practical, too. Who says it must be used for alcohol? Fill it with coffee and imagine it’s a Fairy Bottle.

Made from stainless steel, holding up to 8oz of liquid, and available in four colors (green, red, blue, black), this flask by EmporiumOfFluffLLC is a neat purchase for sure.

Legend of Zelda Treasure Chest ($20)

Here’s another item inspired by Legend of Zelda. At approximately 5″x3″x3″, it’s smaller than it first appears in the photo, making it more of a jewelry box than an actual chest, though it can be useful for holding many things.

All told, it’s a beautiful piece of work that’s hand-painted, stained, complete with metal clasp, and lined with wool for scratch protection. NocturneStudios hit this one out of the park.

Cool stuff! My favorite Esty find is my Nuka-Cola necklace, which cost around $14. This wasn't the one I got, but it's similar:

It's awesome! A lot of the stuff on the site is junk (just because you sell it online doesn't mean it's worth buying) but there's awesome game stuff to be found. When there's no official shop for your favorite games, Etsy is a great next stop/

Nice find on the Nuka Cola necklace! It's surprising how much cool stuff can be found on Etsy but the junk-to-gem ratio can get overwhelming.

I had to look into CaptainsPrintShop; those are super cool prints. They sell a lot of other great art, too—I especially like the Star Wars work they do. Thanks for rounding these things up; super fun article!

That could've been a great idea, but the Rewards system is coming to an end so that probably won't happen. :(
