I made a website and I accidentally made a "home.html" intending for it to be the default page. Anyway, I then had to copy it and rename it "index.html" so that it would go to the page correctly. Now I am wondering if I can sync these two files so that if a change is made in one, it will automatically occur in the other.

I agree with Steve on this, but if you MUST have both for whatever reason, making a symbolic link between them. Is this on your one computer or a web server? If it's your own computer, what operating system and version?

I don't understand. Just rename the home file index.html and edit/save that one. Why would you need both?
