I recently decided to clean my room (yay!) and I find myself with a bunch of random pieces of hardware that I feel could be put to very good use, had I the creative mind for it.
A list:
-Xbox 360
-USB Joystick
-Pair of 3.5mm Computer Speakers
-Airport Express
-iPod Nano with broken screen
-Bamboo writing tablet
-old VGA tube monitor (still makes that bzzzt sound!)
-composite A/V switchbox
-various cables
On a side note, I have a MacBook running Lion.
Can you think of anything useful I can make out of this? It does not need to be one final product; several is jus' fine with me.
THANKS MAKEUSEOF!

Monitor might be fun:http://www.instructables.com/id/Turn-Your-Old-CRT-Computer-Moniter-Into-A-Fish-Tan/http://www.instructables.com/id/Make-an-oscilloscope-out-of-an-old-Crt-computer-mo/http://blogs.catster.com/the-cats-meow-a-cat-and-kitten-blog/need-a-weekend-project-build-a-computer-monitor-cat-bed/2010/05/28/Be really fricking careful messing around with CRT monitors though, the voltage inside can and will kill you. I deliberately didnt post the link to an electrified fence project!Airport Express + Speakers can be made to stream from music from your itunes to anywhere, I believe. That's pretty cool regardless, not really a hack though.

really neat links, and thank you for not posting the electrified fence link--I would have tried it, and probably have died...
