I have an XM account. I can listen to the live feed on my Macbook, but I would like to be able to stream it through my Playstaion 3, which is connected to my surround sound home theater.

Connecting my Macbook to my stereo system is possible, but I would not be able to use my computer during that time because the stereo is across the room.

I have tried the "PS3 media server", which allows me to get photos and music from iTunes and the like. But from what I can tell it does not allow me to stream actual online radio.

Hi,This is great and I got it working on my XM Channels, but I can't get the Sirius Channels.  I subscribed to the XMPremier with Internet radio option.  Any ideas?  I get an error that says the data type is not supported.

DJJay,you're responding to a very old question here. I would recommend to post a new question.

Hi SiriusXMStreamer that now includes XM Radio Online support in addition to Sirius support, as well as direct playback from within the application.http://www.permanence.com/sirius/Once SiriusXMStreamer is setup, run the app & go to "Configuration". Enter your account info for either Siriux/XM. Under "Default Stream Format", set it to "HTTP - M3U". if "SiriusXMStreamer Server" is already prefilled then let it alone. You'll notice "TVersity Media Server", let that alone. Apply the settings & Start the Server. Now you'll need to make 2 entries in the "WEB.CONF" file of the PS3 Media Server. make yours from the default settings that were already included in the "WEB.CONF". The IP address of course may be different depending on how your LAN is setup. To get the correct addresses for your feeds you can either just substitute the static IP of your PC running PS3 Media Server or go to SiriusXMStreamer & click on the "Sirius Channels" & "XM Channels", select "Feeds" then directly to the right using the drop down arrow, choose "Copy URL M3U" & paste the info into your "WEB.CONF. Restart the PS3 Media Server & both feeds should appear under "WEB - Sirius / XM". http://www.xmradio.com/help/faqs-xmro/tech.xmchttp://thelittleappfactory.com/rivet/
