Steam has never had the fanciest interface, but that's been slowly changing over recent years. The Steam library and chat system has been redesigned and now it looks like the Downloads page is next.

What Does Steam's New Downloads Page Look Like?

A recent Steam update added references to SteamPal, a potential Switch-like portable PC from Valve. As noticed by Pavel Djundik, the owner of SteamDB, that update also contains the ability to access a redesigned Downloads page.

To get to the newly designed page, simply visit steam://nav/library/downloads and open in Steam.

The interface makes use of larger iconography, clearer graphs and progression bars, and the ability to drag and drop queued downloads to set priority. It brings the page in line with many other Steam pages, which are built in React.

The Downloads page itself hasn't been changed for many years, so an update is long overdue.

The new Downloads page hasn't been officially announced by Valve, so we have no way of knowing whether the page is in its final form or when it'll be released.

Valve could also add new functionality to this page, like a single button to mass schedule all pending updates.
