Firefox has been a little lagging lately. It takes some time for Firefox to start up. Is there any fix for this? Are the addons the culprit?

Tony, your problem could well be in too many extensions loading at once. Try to disable as many as you can and see whether it improves the slow startup.Apparently, deleting your temporary internet files and history (C:Documents and Settings"your user name"Local Settings) or your recent documents and temp files (C:Documents and Settings"your user name"), will also speed up Firefox. Here are more tips to speeding up Firefox, although they don't specifically target the startup: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/the-ultimate-guide-to-speeding-up-firefox-3-5/
