Before actually getting the software, you need to confirm that your mic actually supports voice recognition! I've had this problem before and I was disappointed with my mic but now I got a new one!Secondly, I don't think there is such a software to do something like that! I mean I've only seen face recognition but not voice recognition log on to the system! If you are interested in face recognition then here's something to consider:http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/face-recognition-software-to-login-windows-7/

Microsoft created a number of software solutions for the disabled under the category "accessibility". It includes voice commands for those who cannot use their hands.http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/Windows7/What-can-I-do-with-Speech-Recognition?SignedIn=1To my knowledge, it doesn't appear that Windows Accessibility can issue log on/power on commands, as the computer would be in some kind of lower power state - and probably have its mic disabled. However, in theory it's possible with the right settings enabled the computer could be "turned on" from a sleep state. The S1 sleep state keeps its USB ports powered on, so it's likely that one could design commands to turn the monitor on and off, using only their voice. I suggest reading the article above.
