I am looking for a way to archive emails, has anyone downloaded software that could be of interest to me for this purpose?

We distribute a product called MailStore - there's a free home version and paid for edition for small companies that has a free 30-day trial. I'll save you the biased review but if you'd like info and the download link see our site here:-http://www.zensoftware.co.uk/mailstore/

Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes are good for archiving emails locally on your system.

Hi Brian,If your host uses IMAP (most do) all you need to do is install an eMail client, such as
Thunderbird
or
Postbox Express
. Then when you log into the client, it will download your emails to a local folder.
