Download Transmac and install in WindowsIn the right-side panel of Transmac, right click on your USB Drive >> Format Disk >> Format with Disk Image.Point to your .dmg file and click Open. This will take some time, For snowleopard_10a432_userdvd.dmg which is 6.2 GB it takes around 20 Mins to make a bootable USBNow, Insert the bootable USB in Mac and restart it with Alt (Option) key pressed, You should see The External bootable USB while start up, Select it and then follow steps to install Mac from scratch.Note : You might get sectors error, Its better to clean the hard drive while installing the mac again. Hello, any USB drive/flashdrive is bootable as long as the BIOS allows to boot from USB.  There are several ways and tools you can use to do what you are asking.  Only thing is you have to be clear about what software/application you want for your USB to boot from.  Most of these applications can make a USB drive/flashdrive bootable but before you do this, you have to make sure to get the ISO image for these applications to make the application bootable.  For example, for LINUX and linux applications you can use some of the options mentioned above and also the following:http://www.linuxliveusb.com/http://www.pendrivelinux.com/yumi-multiboot-usb-creator/Also the following link will give you some more options to create bootable Live USB for windows, mac and linux:http://www.webupd8.org/2009/04/4-ways-to-create-bootable-live-usb.htmlhttp://www.softpedia.com/get/System/Boot-Manager-Disk/Bootable-USB-Drive-Creator-Tool.shtml[Broken Link Removed]http://www.sarducd.it/http://www.wintobootic.com/[Broken Link Removed]
