I want to convert movies to watch on mobile while computing. I want to be able to use MP4 format without much loss in quality. Can anyone recommend software for this?

I've tried Format Factory but it doesn't seem to work.

I love DVDfab, while it isn't free it is reasonable prices and works great. It is simple to use and their support is excellent.

I still prefer Format Factory, although there are many nice programs: XMedia Recode, Handbrake, Freemake Video Converter, VidCoder (version of Handbrake with "target size" function ;) )

I'm using FormatFactory right now; it does his job very well. Did you follow help file directions? What does "it doesn't work properly" mean?

Ops! I've never met this issue...If I were you, I would unistall, clean registry, reinstall FormatFactory and give it one more try. If fails again, you may consider another option; 'Handbrake' maybe...
