I am wondering what the best site(s) are for TV show torrents? I'd like to find one that has a variety of old and new shows, with many seeders. (Dream on maybe?) For instance: a site that not only has torrents available for Burn Notice, but UK Top Gear,and 80's shows like Fantasy Island. (Remember that one?)

http://www.thebox.bz/ is the best for UK tv shows, especially old ones. Some real classics on there. Unfortunately, its a private tracker and sign ups are closed right now, but keep an eye on the site or find an existing member to invite you (i would, but my account got disabled due to inactivity)if it's ok with you, I'll skip the legalities of torrents lecture.

There are a few sites dedicated to TV torrents, such as eztv.it, but the challenge is when it comes to older shows. Recording directly from TV wasn't as popular back then because the technology wasn't up to it at the time. However, you can sometimes search through traditional torrent sites to find some older shows if they have been released on DVD or in digital formats.Keep in mind that downloading shows is, in most cases, just as illegal as downloading movies or music. It depends on the copyright holder though. A few, not many, will allow and possibly encourage the downloading of their shows. That's not very common though. The legal method would be through paid services like Netflix. They have many shows available for streaming over the internet and even entire seasons of shows that you can get in the mail, depending on the plan you get.
