My sister and I share an iPod and I was wondering if there is a way to separate completely her music from mine.

Thanx!

You could create individual playlists for each of you, perhaps prefacing your playlists with M- and your partner's with theirinitial, but you cannot "switch" libraries on the iPod.http://www.woopid.com/video/2170/Create-Playlist-Folders-Macbut manually you can copy whay music you want and your sister her ownsbut if you have 2 ipods and one ituneshttp://www.wikihow.com/Share-One-iTunes-With-Two-or-More-iPods

There are only two options I know of:1. Synchronize the iPod with two different iTunes Libraries (or installations)2. Create a playlist for each of you and use them to play only your musicThe downside of the first option is - of course - that you have to reset your iPod and synchronize all files again whenever you switch. It will take a lot of time and depending on your iPod shorten the life of it's storageThe downside of the second option is that you don't exactly separate your music e.g. if you forget to select your playlist you will play all songs stored on the iPod instead of only yours.
